FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How long will it take for my child to settle in?

This is different for every child as it depends on your child's previous experiences of being separated from their parents/carers. We have an introductory settling in period, two weeks before your child is due to start. Week 1 we invite you to bring your child for 1hr visits. We then increase to 2 hr visits in week two. There is no charge for the settling in sessions of 2 hrs or less.

How much will it cost and how do I pay?

Fees are calculated by the weekly rate multiplied by 52 (weeks) and divided by 12 (months). Fees are payable in advance at the beginning of each month by standing order or childcare vouchers.

What if I am running late to collect my child from nursery?

We do not charge late collection fees however we do ask that you adhere to the nursery session times. If, in an emergency, you are going to be late, please contact the nursery immediately. If you arrange for someone we have never met before to collect your child from nursery, please arrange a password for security, and if possible, ask the person collecting your child to bring some form of identification

Do you accept childcare vouchers?

Yes we do accept all childcare vouchers.

Do you cater for special diets?

Yes we do! If your child has an allergy or food intolerance, we will draw up a Care Plan so that we can best meet your child's dietary requirements. We also cater for vegetarians and Halal diets.

I think my child is ready to potty train. Is Nursery able to assist with this?

Yes we are able to assist you with your child's potty training. Your child's key worker will discuss a plan of action with you so that we can make the transition as easy as possible for your child.
